A Sustainable Home Design From Recycled Wood Pallets – Pallets House
August 2, 2011 - Category Architecture
Schnetzer Andreas Claus and Pils Gregor, two College of Vienna students, would be the brains behind Pallet House, a recycled wood pallets home design that’s no extras, all function. This sustainable, recycled house uses pallets to create a modular structure design that’s as efficient eco because it is economically. Just 11 USD per sq. foot., this home requires a simple cube shape, filled with an outside entertaining area and sliding glass walls opening to the open-concept interior. In the outdoors, the recycled enclosure lights up through the light from inside. The eco sustainable wood home was initially created included in a 2008 competition (so it required to begin with in) and it has since been displayed at a number of major European metropolitan areas, now showing up in Africa.
