Designed by LA-based interior designer Angie Thornbury, is this stunning 7000 square ft house on top of the Hollywood Hills above the famous Sunset Strip. According to the architects, “the house from the ground up, with views of downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific built. One of the unique features of the house, glass floor panels that allow peer down into a two-story, white bars and sapphire blue wine cellar is. There is a lift that connects the first floor of the lower lobby bar / lounge and the glittering mirrored room, one enters a cave, deep blue theater. The cave-like setting with padded walls, a cozy sitting area offers the ground floor with on a balcony above the seating area for premium display, so this design is the ultimate entertainment experience at home. As an eco-house, include Angie skylights, transoms and side lights in every room daylight, the rooms light and thus the need for artificial lighting. At nightfall the darkness, the special aesthetic is a wireless remote control mood lighting to create highlights.

 

Other features include a two-story wine cellar that can accommodate up to 1,000 bottles of wine, a complete outdoor kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven, an automated materials handling wardrobe storage capacity for up to 800 pieces of clothing and even a touch-less urinals for men. The powder is light and motion activated faucets and surprises the mirror with a built-in TV screen. Angie was happy about every aspect of the house, including the structure and mechanics and finishing of furniture design, creating a one-of-a-kind look at home. Inspired by the classic style, but tapping American technology and resources, Thornbury proud of this house to have built from scratch. “This is not just a quick cosmetic redo. The rooms were created with a purpose and aesthetics fell into place.”
